Rawa Kesari Rose flavoured /Rose Flavoured Sheera

Rawa Kesari Rose flavoured /Rose Flavoured Sheera 

  • Fine Rawa /Semolina ...1 cup
  • Sugar ...1 cup
  • Water ..3 cups
  • Ghee .. 1 tblsp
  • Kesar /Saffron strands ... a generous pinch 
  • Warm Milk ...1 tblsp ( to soak kesar strands for about 1/2 an hour ) 
  • Rose Essence ...1 tsp 


Method
In a kadai add 2 tsp of ghee n fry the rawa till it gives a nice aroma n raw smell goes ! take it on a plate 


Boil the water .

In a thick kadai add the ghee roasted rawa , boiled water n sugar , Stir continuously so that no lumps is formed , add the saffron milk , rose essence n mix well ...add the remaining  ghee , n cook till the ghee leaves the side n rawa is cooked well .

Smear a plate with little ghee n spread the rawa kesari/  sheera on it evenly n cut when cool into desired shape
