Mixed Sprout's Usli

Mixed sprouts Usli 

  • Alsande bee/Cow peas...1/4 th cup
  •  Whole Moong/ Green Gram..1/4 th cup
  •    Green Chana ..1/4 th cup 


  To grind to a semi coarse paste


  • Grated coconut... 1 tblsp 
  •  Green chilly...2 
  • Coriander leaves... 1/2 fist
  •  Salt to taste


 Seasoning 

  • Oil..2 tsp
  •  Mustard seeds ..1/2 tsp 
  • Onion ..1 
  • Hing/Asafoetida..1 pinch 
  • curry leaves ..1 sprig 
  • Dry red chilly ..2


 Garnishing 

  • Coriander leaves chopped..2 tsp
  •  Lime juice ..1 tsp .


 Method
 Soak cow peas, green gram n green chana overnight next day morning discard water n put them in a cotton cloth n tie ... keep aside for a day n allow it to sprout .

Pressure Cook it in little water till tender but not mushy .  

Grind all the ingredients meant to grind to a semi coarse paste . 

In a kadai add oil, splutter mustard seeds, add hing add chopped onion n fry till transparent . Add torn dry red chilly , curry leaves , ground paste n fry for a while n then  add the cooked sprouts n mix well .

Garnish with coriander leaves n add lime juice .
